No, but all of our ingredients are 100% gluten free, and we bake in a dedicated kitchen that is only used to prepare gluten-free items.
We do our best to use organic ingredients as much as possible. When we are not using organic, we choose local, healthy, all-natural ingredients for each of our products.
No, our products never contain any kind of preservatives or additives. We choose only wholesome, all natural products for our breads and confections.
No, we do not use any soy or corn in any of our products.
Most of our products are made from our own proprietary mix of organic brown rice flour, millet flour, sorghum flour, coconut flour, tapioca, and arrowroot. We also use almond meal and certified gluten free oats in some recipes.
Our motto when it comes to sugar is “less is better.” We believe that even baked goods can be made with very little sugar and still taste fantastic! Our main goal is to have a healthy sweet treat for you. For this reason we add just a touch of one of the following in each product: organic coconut sugar, organic maple syrup, organic agave syrup, organic pure cane sugar, or organic brown sugar. The only item with traditional confectioner’s sugar is our maple cake and chocolate cake, which uses it in the frosting.

We make every effort to put only wholesome, healthy ingredients into each of our products by drawing on our local products whenever possible. Additionally, we cut the fat and sugar as much as possible without compromising the taste, while using ingredients that promote good health including raw almonds, certified gluten-free whole oats, organic flax meal, and raw coconut – just to name a few.
We spent a lot of time experimenting in the kitchen in order to develop a recipe that is both unique and delicious. Unlike other granola blends, which consist primarily of oats, with the addition of some nuts and fruit, and a significant amount of sugar and oil, our Mendo Munchie granola is made with only natural and organic ingredients. We incorporate a balanced mix of whole grains, nuts, seeds, and organic dried, unsulfured dry apricots. Furthermore, it contains no oil and just a touch of organic maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla for a hint of sweetness. Our Mendo Munchie Granola is perfect by itself, added to plain yogurt, or topped with your choice of milk. You’ll not only love the taste of our granola, but you will feel good after eating it too!
We take the time to handcraft each item by mixing our own flours and nuts and adding just the right amount of ingredients to give them that rich nutty flavor. Most of our sweet breads and cakes are vegan using organic flax meal in place of eggs, organic almond milk, and organic coconut sugar for sweetness.
We use minimal packaging for our products, just enough to keep them fresh and safe. For most products we use eco-friendly packaging that can either be reused or recycled.
USPS Priority Flat Rate is typically used for most orders shipped in the U.S. Other sources may be used on request.
The price will vary depending on the size of the order. We use USPS Flat Rate Priority shipping boxes to keep costs down, and different size boxes have different prices. Generally, if you order 1-5 items, it will go in a small box and cost $10.20. 6-10 items will likely fit into a medium size box and cost $17.10. Orders over 11 items will likely have to be shipped in a large box, which costs $22.80. But there are exceptions to this. We will adjust the shipping cost as needed.
Orders are shipped out on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We cannot guarantee an exact arrival date, but shipping time is usually 1-3 days, depending on your location.
If you have special shipping requests, please note them in the comments section of the order form. Bear in mind that this may add additional shipping time or cost to your order.
At room temperature, most products will stay fresh for up to one week. If you refrigerate them, they will last 3-4 weeks, and if you freeze them, they will last up to 3 months.
If you don’t plan to eat your product within a week or so, you should refrigerate or freeze it. All products can be refrigerated up to 3-4 weeks and frozen for up to 3 months. Products are best served fresh, but hold their freshness even when previously frozen.
